This is a great little hole in the wall cafe. I had lunch here and decided to order the special combination plate. I can tell you that this is the way Chinese food should taste. I wanted the sweet and sour soup, but they were all out after the lunch rush and they were about a half hour away from making a new batch. The stir fry was fresh, the portions were big and the service was funny and friendly. Some friends showed me the place and they regularly eat there. After one visit, I know why.
This was one of those Chinese food restaurants where you never question what exactly you are eating. Take that however you want, but I'm sure we have all been there!!!
I am going back for the soup and more great food.

when you do a web search for "dawson creek vietnamese" this is one of the only things that comes up. it's not dreadful. but it's not particularly good either. what locals told me was that it used to be better, but has become more "americanized chinese" pretty much across the board. and from my brown "grilled pork" vermicelli bowl (which looked more like lo mein) i wouldn't disagree with that assessment.

there was a table across the room, who by their questions to the server, appeared to be as disillusioned as i was.

just not right. while it won't likely kill you, it tastes to me like a mediocre chinese buffet.

if you're looking for GOOD, AUTHENTIC vietnamese in dawson creek it would be a crime to go to the noodle hut when you have a WONDERFUL place like juice five 0 just a few blocks away.

Noodle Hut used to be our go-to for take out in this city. Used to. Tonight we placed an order for delivery, 2 egg rolls and a combination with ginger chicken, Cantonese rainbow chow mein and chicken balls. An hour later the delivery guy arrives, my husband goes to the door and the total is $51. He looks at the order slip because obviously that's a lot more than we expected. They had made a mistake and given us individual plates of each part of the combo we ordered.

Oh well, we would pay for it anyways. People make mistakes. we only had enough cash for the combo so we had to call the restaurant to pay for the $51 order because the delivery driver doesn't accept credit cards. My husband starts to explain what happened and before he even got the chance to say we still wanted it the woman on the phone starts arguing with him.

She says that I didn't say it was a combo, and that I had asked for the total and she read it back to me! He can't get a word in edge wise with her and he knows she's lying because he was sitting right beside me when I ordered, and it was on speaker phone.

I take the phone and try to explain to this imbecile that we were still wanting to pay for the whole order that she fucked up but she won't shut up for long enough to let me. I didn't ask for a total, and I DID tell her it was a combo. If she had given me a total I would have PROBABLY said something if it was $51.

The delivery driver was apologizing profusely for this asshats mistake, not your fault buddy. And he ended up escaping my house while I was yelling back at the woman on the phone.

Maybe treat your customers with a little respect and shut your face hole long enough to actually hear what they were going to say to you before accusing them of shit they didn't even do? Now instead of 51 dollars you have a pile of wasted food to throw in the trash. And like I said on the phone, we will NEVER. EVER. Be back.

The foods gone to shit since you guys took over anyways. Bye Felicia.

Slow service and small portions for the pho. Not great tasting pho (juice 5-0 is way better)

Haven't tried anything else there, and don't intend to. It seems pretty overpriced and not great quality for what I've seen of other people's dishes.

The restaurant seems to not be the cleanest, but I can't say for sure.

Worst service ive ever had in my life! They messed up my take out so I called and brought it back to get what I ordered and she asked me to pay the $2.10 difference and I asked if that was really necessary since they messed my order up and I had to drive back down, she proceeded to rudley tell me how I was wrong and it was my fault. So I paid the difference and kept my mouth shut even tho I should have said something about her terrible service. Will not be going back.
